A short, condensed weekly summary of Josh’s progress as an electrical apprentice.
Quick Hits are short, focused recaps of NEC (National Electrical Code) topics — especially the 2026 NEC.
I'm a 23-year-old electrician based in Massachusetts with a strong commitment to building a long-term career in the electrical trade. I have completed the fourth of eight journeyman trade school modules and am preparing to begin Module 5. In addition to my formal education, I've spent the past four years independently studying electrical theory and the National Electrical Code (NEC), developing a solid technical foundation that complements my hands-on experience.
My long-term goal is to complete the required 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, earn my Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license, and continue progressing toward becoming a Master Electrician.
I am currently working full-time through Top-Tier Temps: Power On on a commercial restaurant remodel project, where I continue gaining valuable field experience in commercial electrical construction. This opportunity has strengthened my ability to work safely, follow established procedures, adapt to fast-paced jobsite conditions, and deliver quality workmanship as part of a team.
I take pride in being dependable, punctual, eager to learn, and committed to improving my skills every day. Whether studying the NEC after work or applying what I learn in the field, I approach every opportunity with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
I'm actively seeking part-time or full-time electrical apprentice opportunities in either residential or commercial construction. I offer scheduling flexibility, reliable transportation, and a valid Massachusetts driver's license. If you're looking for a motivated apprentice who is serious about the trade, values safety and quality, and is committed to continuous growth, I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team.
